§ 14.1.17. Zip Lines

(A)
A person may not set up a zip line in a park without a permit. As a condition of the permit the permittee must agree to a full release from liability and indemnification of the City acceptable to the City Attorney. A permittee may not set up a zip line in a special event zone without the written authorization of the director.
(B)
Due to the high impact of a zip line on integrity and preservation of park property, and the hazards associated with the use of a zip line by participants, the conditions of a permit must be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
