This section contains information related to compliance with local amendments to the adopted Electrical Code. Local amendments can be found on the City website, www.austintexas.gov, or in the City Code Section 25-12. The Electrical Code applies to all residential and commercial construction within the City of Austin's jurisdiction, as well as electric service provided by the City of Austin's electric utility within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).
