§ 12-1-2. COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.

(A)

A person who performs an act prohibited by this title or fails to perform an act required by this title commits an offense.

(B)

Except as otherwise provided in this title, an offense under this title is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.
