§ 12-1-22. DRIVING IN A PROCESSION.
(A)
The driver of a vehicle in a funeral procession shall:
(1)
illuminate the vehicle's headlights to identify the vehicle as a part of the procession;
(2)
drive as near to the right-hand edge of the roadway as practical; and
(3)
follow the vehicle ahead as closely as practical and safe.
(B)
Except as provided in Subsection (C), a person may not drive a vehicle between the vehicles in a moving funeral or other authorized procession when the procession vehicles are proceeding as required by Subsection (A).
(C)
Subsection (B) does not apply at an intersection where traffic is controlled by a traffic-control signal or police officer.
