§ 12-5-8. REPAIRS PERFORMED ON A STREET, ALLEY OR SIDEWALK.

  • (A)

    Except as provided in Subsection (B), an owner, agent, or employee of a commercial enterprise may not perform work or permit work to be performed on a vehicle or vehicle part, including a vehicle, buggy, or wagon, or on farm equipment, a machine or machine part, or a section of iron or pipe, on a street, alley, or sidewalks.

    (B)

    A person may change a vehicle tire or perform a minor repair on an item described in Subsection (A) for a period of time of not to exceed one hour if the item is in the possession and under the supervision of its owner or representative, other than the owner, agent, or employee of a commercial enterprise performing the repair.
