§ 13-1-55. CONTROL OF PERSONAL PROPERTY REQUIRED.

(A)

A person must maintain direct physical control and custody of the person's personal property at the airport, except property delivered to an air carrier for shipment, or stored in a location approved by the director.

(B)

A person may not recklessly or knowingly abandon property at an airport.

(C)

Except as provided under Section 13-2-60 ( Disposition of Abandoned Property ) of the Code, a person who finds lost or abandoned property shall deposit the item with or report it to an airport official or police officer.
