Article 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS. |
§ 14-2-3. ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS.
The council shall include the following in an ordinance establishing a public market:
(1)
the name of the public market;
(2)
the exact limits or boundaries of the market;
(3)
a description of any limit on:
(a)
the type of merchandise that may be sold in the market;
(b)
the hours during which the market may operate;
(c)
the maximum square foot area that a vendor may occupy within the market; and
(4)
other provisions necessary to protect public health, safety, and welfare.
