Chapter 14-6. TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE FOR NON-CONSTRUCTION USE. |

Article 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS. |
§ 14-6-1. DEFINITIONS.
In this chapter:
(1)
DEPARTMENT means the department designated by the city manager.
(2)
DIRECTOR means the department director designated by the city manager.
(3)
EMERGENCY OPERATION means an operation or repair necessary to prevent imminent damage or injury to a person or the public.
(4)
EMERGENCY SERVICE AGENCY means an agency whose primary purpose is to provide for public safety and welfare, including emergency medical service, police, and fire.
(5)
NON-CONSTRUCTION includes storage of news media equipment, a special event, loading or unloading equipment or property, and other purposes approved by the director.
(6)
PUBLIC SERVICE AGENCY means an agency whose primary function is to provide and maintain public utilities.
