§ 14-9-40. INSURANCE.
(A)
An operator who installs or maintains a newsrack or engages in direct sales must obtain a public liability and property damage insurance policy, naming the City as an additional insured, in an amount not less than $100,000 minimum liability combined single limit (bodily injury and property damage) per person and per occurrence.
(B)
The insurance policy must include a provision requiring the insurance carrier to provide the director with notice of cancellation not later than the 30th day before the policy is cancelled.
(C)
The director may remove a newsrack if the operator fails to maintain insurance as prescribed by this section.
