§ 15-1-12. CUSTOMER DUTIES.

(A)

A customer shall install a new, replacement, or reconditioned backflow prevention assembly or device in accordance with this chapter and the Plumbing Code.

(B)

Not later than the fifth day after the date a new, replacement, or reconditioned backflow prevention assembly is installed and tested, a customer shall submit to the director the original test and maintenance report on the backflow prevention assembly.

(C)

The director may not install or authorize the installation of a permanent water or reclaimed water meter unless the customer has submitted a test and maintenance report for each backflow prevention assembly installed on a site and all inspections are final as required by Chapter 25-12, Article 1 ( Building Code ).
