§ 15-1-54. CERTIFICATION.

(A)

A public water system must obtain certification by a tester for each double check valve assembly and reduced pressure backflow prevention assembly installed as prescribed by Section 15-1-52 ( Construction Requirements For Sole Source Purchaser ) or Section 15-1-53 ( Construction Requirements For Non-Sole Source Purchaser ):

(1)

on installation; and

(2)

annually during use, on or before the date established by the director.

(B)

A public water system must provide a copy of a certification issued under this section to the director not later than the fifth day after the certification is completed.
