§ 15-10-54. PRETREATMENT PLANS.

(A)

A person required to pretreat waste or wastewater before discharge to the POTW, must submit complete plans and specifications for the pretreatment system to the director.

(B)

A plan developed under this section shall describe the proposed pretreatment method, process, or technology, including products, chemicals, agents or devices used for pretreatment.

(C)

A person must obtain the director's approval prior to:

(1)

discharging wastewater; or

(2)

constructing, using or modifying a pretreatment facility, method, process or technology.
