§ 15-2-14. REDUCED CHARGE BASED ON NEED.

(A)

A utility customer who qualifies for assistance under Austin Energy's Customer Assistance Discount Program may request a reduced drainage charge based on financial need.

(B)

The reduced charge is available annually on the utility customer's submission of proof of continuing eligibility.

(C)

The reduced charge is prospective only and must be requested by the utility customer. The director may not refund any drainage charges under this section.

(D)

The reduced charge under this Section shall be set by ordinance. A utility customer may receive only the most recently authorized reduction.
