§ 15-9-266. SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

  • (A)

    The director may prescribe conditions for an approval of metered wastewater billing that the director determines are necessary to address circumstances, operations, or conditions at the customer service address of the applicant, including:

    (1)

    special conditions concerning the number, design, location, configuration, or security of the wastewater meter to be used at the service address;

    (2)

    documentation of the effluent content, volume, rate of flow, or source of wastewater discharge from the service address;

    (3)

    reconfiguration of plumbing, meter installation, or testing;

    (4)

    access to the meter, data logging equipment, or telemetry equipment;

    (5)

    meter reading and billing protocols;

    (6)

    installation, securing, sealing, or elimination of bypass piping;

    (7)

    maintenance and calibration protocols;

    (8)

    safety of City employees or other persons; and

    (9)

    other special conditions that the director determines to be necessary for the safe, proper, or efficient administration of metered wastewater billing for the service address.

    (B)

    The director shall deny an application for metered wastewater billing if an applicant or customer fails to comply with special conditions prescribed by the director.
