§ 1-1-7. SIGNATURES AND OATHS.

  • (A)

    A requirement that a writing be signed permits the use of any symbol executed or adopted by a person with present intent to authenticate the writing.

    (B)

    A requirement that a writing be sworn means that the writing must be sworn to before a person permitted to administer oaths under state law.
