§ 2-7-75. SWORN FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS.

  • (A)

    All public statements of financial information required by this article shall be sworn to and shall constitute public records.

    (B)

    A statement of financial information may be filed electronically under procedures to be determined by the city clerk. By filing electronically a person required to file a statement of financial information states on oath before the city clerk that the facts stated in the statement of financial information are true to the best of the person's knowledge or belief.

    (C)

    A statement of financial information that is filed with the city clerk is considered to be under oath by the person required to file the statement regardless of the absence of or defect in the affidavit of verification, including a signature. This subsection applies to a statement of financial information that is filed electronically or otherwise.
