§ 5-5-1. DECLARATION OF POLICY.

It is hereby declared to be the policy of the City to prohibit discrimination based on the fact that a person has AIDS or any medical indicators or symptoms related thereto. In adopting this chapter, the city council does not intend to proscribe any activity the proscription of which would constitute an infringement of the free exercise of religion as guaranteed by the United States and Texas constitutions.
