§ 7-3-1. MEXICAN AMERICAN CULTURAL CENTER.

  • (A)

    A Mexican American Cultural Center is established.

    (B)

    The City shall operate and maintain the center to provide a facility for:

    (1)

    presentations and performances of visual, media, and literacy arts unique to Mexican American, Native American, and other Latino cultures;

    (2)

    community education and training relating to Mexican American, Native American, and other Latino cultures; and

    (3)

    other related activities.

    (C)

    The City may accept private contributions to supplement City funding for the center and activities related to the center.
