§ 8-5-74. EXEMPTIONS.

(A)

The city council may grant an exemption to a requirement or prohibition of this division.

(B)

The owner or operator of a houseboat may file an application for an exemption with the Board. The Board shall provide the city council with a recommendation regarding a requested exemption.

(C)

An exemption granted by the city council under this section must be in writing and state the time period during which it is effective.
