§ 9-1-5. INTERFERENCE WITH IMPOUNDMENT PROHIBITED.

(A)

A person commits an offense if the person knowingly interferes with the impoundment of property under this chapter or under Chapter 683 ( Abandoned Motor Vehicles ) of the Texas Transportation Code.

(B)

An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor punishable in accordance with Section 1-1-99 ( Offenses; General Penalty ).
