§ 9-5-13. AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSE.

It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under this article that the solicitation is made:
(1)

in furtherance of a transaction which would not constitute a violation of any applicable law; or

(2)

by a peace officer or federal law enforcement officer in the lawful discharge of the officer's duties.
