§ 461S.1. Description

This item shall govern furnishing and placing concrete trash coffins and their foundations in conformance with the details indicated on the Drawings. Unless indicated otherwise on the drawings or directed by the Engineer or designated representative, the Contractor shall have the option of furnishing cast in place or precast coffins.

This specification is applicable for projects or work involving either inch-pound or SI units. Within the text and accompanying tables, the inch-pound units are given preference followed by SI units shown within parentheses.
