§ 12.3. Network Node

  • A network provider must submit an application in a form to be determined by the director and receive a permit to install a network node in the public right-of-way. An application to install a network node must include information that the director determines is necessary to review and approve the application, including, but not limited to:

    1.

    A completed application on a form approved by the director, for each location requested;

    2.

    A map showing the intended location of the proposed facility in the public right-of-way, with distances from any historic landmarks, parks, schools, or residentially zoned property, if any. This map should also include all existing utilities and surface features (including trees, street furniture, etc.) within 20 feet of the proposed node support pole location;

    3.

    Representative drawings or pictures of the specific node location;

    4.

    Artistic renderings, drawings, cut sheets, or pictures showing the location with network provider's equipment installed, including conduit, attachment method, and shroud; and

    5.

    Details and graphics on the type of network facility to be installed and installation method proposed for the City's approval.
