§ 1.10.0. PERMIT EXPIRATION

    WORK - Shall be continuous construction as required by the approved plans, contract documents, local codes and ordinances.

    a)

    The driving of a nail and/or a wooden stake into the ground for the purpose of surveying land does not constitute work.

    b)

    Work begins when active clearing of the land to proceed with the approved construction starts, i.e., piers are drilled for pier and beam construction and batter boards have been set for slab on grade construction.

    2)

    A permit or permits expire after 180 days if there has been no work on the project.
