§ 15-4-72. REVIEW OF RECORD; SUMMARY REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION.

  • After the close of a hearing, the hearings examiner shall review and study the transcript and any briefs or written closing argument submitted by a party at interest. The hearings examiner shall prepare a summary report of the record and a recommendation to the city council as soon as practical after the close of the hearing. A summary report and recommendation shall:

    (1)

    list the hearings examiner's findings and conclusions;

    (2)

    contain a brief explanation of the reasons for the findings and conclusions; and

    (3)

    set out the hearings examiner's recommendations.
