No person shall require another to undergo any medical procedure or test designed
to show or help show whether a person has AIDS, or is an HIV-infected individual,
as defined in Section 5-5-2 (

in this section shall be construed to prohibit any blood bank, blood center or plasma
center or any medical facility which procures, processes, distributes, or uses a donated
human body part from conducting any test for medical acceptability of blood, plasma
or the body part.
