§ 6-5-2. EXPERIMENTAL SUBSTANCES, MATERIAL, OR EQUIPMENT.

(A)

A person may request that the administrator approve the use of an experimental substance, material, or equipment to comply with this chapter by filing an application with the administrator.

(B)

The administrator may approve an application if the administrator determines that the experimental substance, material, or equipment complies with the intent of this chapter and does not endanger public health.

(C)

If the administrator approves an application, the administrator shall issue a permit that includes the terms of the approval.
