Article 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS. |
§ 6-2-2. APPLICABILITY.
(A)
This chapter applies to:
(1)
a person within the city limits; and
(2)
a person within the City's five-mile extraterritorial jurisdiction if the person is located:
(a)
within a water supply watershed, including the watersheds of Lake Austin and Lake Travis;
(b)
within an aquifer-related watershed, including the watersheds of Barton Creek, Williamson Creek, Slaughter Creek, Big Bear Creek, Little Bear Creek, and Onion Creek; or
(c)
within the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone north of the Colorado River.
(B)
The watersheds and recharge zone described in this section are shown on the hazardous materials storage and registration map, which is available for inspection in the offices of the city clerk and the director. In the event of a conflict between Subsection (A) and the map, Subsection (A) controls.
